Terms of Service

Effective July 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Haute Locals, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as The Purpose Pilot, operator of the Altitude platform (“Altitude,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account, signing up for a subscription, or otherwise using Altitude (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

The Purpose Pilot is a marketing agency that serves behavioral healthcare providers, treatment centers, mental health clinics, dental practices, dermatology clinics, physical therapy practices, and other healthcare businesses. Altitude is the platform we use to deliver those services and to give each client a portal to monitor their account.

Subscription tiers are listed on the Pricing page. Clients sign up via the website, pay monthly via Stripe, and receive a portal login. Features available through Altitude include:

  • AI-powered SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) audits
  • AI-generated content including blog posts, GEO articles, and social media posts
  • Social media publishing directly to connected LinkedIn, Facebook, and X accounts
  • Google Business Profile review monitoring and AI-drafted response templates
  • Brand mention tracking across the web
  • Site authority scoring and rank tracking
  • Paid media strategy generation and ad performance tracking
  • AI-driven optimization recommendations on connected Google Ads and Meta accounts
  • Content series planning and scheduling
  • Lead prospecting and market intelligence tools
  • A client portal view of all of the above

We may change, add, or remove features at any time. Material reductions in functionality will be communicated in advance.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the legal entity you represent. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@hautelocals.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe at the rate of the tier you select on the Pricing page. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly agree otherwise in writing
  • If a payment fails, the Service may be suspended after a grace period until the balance is brought current
  • We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to your next renewal
  • Upon cancellation or termination, we will provide a reasonable window for you to export your data before it is deleted

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or regulation, including healthcare advertising and consumer-protection rules (e.g., LegitScript certification requirements for addiction treatment advertising)
  • Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or that you do not have the rights to share
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, the underlying systems, or any data you do not own
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service except to the extent permitted by law
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service to third parties without a written agreement permitting it
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or invade the privacy of any individual
  • Use automated systems to overload or disrupt the Service

6. Healthcare advertising compliance

The Service is a marketing tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and outputs generated by the Service (including AI-generated content, recommendations, and audits) are not a substitute for professional judgment.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content, ad copy, or campaign changes comply with applicable healthcare advertising regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, state telehealth and treatment-center licensure rules, LegitScript certification for addiction treatment ads, and FTC truth-in-advertising standards. We make no guarantee that AI-generated outputs are compliant; you must review before publishing.

We make no guarantee of specific business outcomes (search rankings, ad performance, admissions, or revenue). SEO and paid media outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Social media and connected accounts

Altitude allows you to connect third-party social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and others as added) and to publish content to those accounts directly through the Service. By connecting an account, you:

  • Authorize Altitude to publish content to that account on your behalf when you or your agency initiates a publish or scheduled post action
  • Confirm that you are authorized to connect and post on behalf of any company page or account you link
  • Acknowledge that published content is subject to each platform's own terms of service and community guidelines, and that compliance with those terms is your responsibility
  • Understand that you can disconnect any account at any time from your account settings

Similarly, by connecting a Google Ads account, you authorize Altitude to read campaign data and to apply optimization changes (such as adding negative keywords) on your behalf when you or your agency initiates those actions. You remain fully responsible for the performance and compliance of your advertising campaigns.

8. Your content and data

You retain ownership of all content and data you upload, generate, or connect to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant Altitude a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data only as needed to provide the Service to you.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload Customer Data and to authorize Altitude to retrieve, display, and where applicable write data to or through third-party APIs you connect (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, X, and others) on your behalf.

We do not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune machine-learning models. See the Privacy Policy for details on third-party processors.

9. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, X, Stripe, Anthropic, Resend, Supabase, Vercel, and others. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services, including any changes those providers make to their platforms or APIs.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and AI prompts, is owned by Haute Locals, LLC and incorporates third-party open-source and licensed software. The Service is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

“Altitude” and “The Purpose Pilot” are brand names of Haute Locals, LLC. Other names and logos referenced in the Service are the property of their respective owners.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account with notice if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or pose a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable window for you to export your data before it is deleted. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies; you must review and verify before relying on or publishing them.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altitude and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the service or these terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Haute Locals, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your Customer Data, (c) your use of the Service in violation of law or third-party rights, (d) content or campaign changes you publish using the Service that violate healthcare advertising or other applicable regulations, or (e) your use of social media publishing or ad account write features in a way that violates a third-party platform's terms of service.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted here with a new effective date at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
